Our review of Crown KTV
Crown KTV occupies unit 2.36 on the second floor of Plaza Berjaya, in the heart of the Bukit Bintang nightlife area. Public reviews describe it as an adult nightlife lounge. If you are new to lounges, our guide to what is KTV explains how a night usually works.
We have not visited in person. Instead, this review draws on the Google Maps listing, owner-uploaded photos and public reviews. The listing shows a 4.0 rating from 114 reviews, with the newest about four months before October 2026. The venue has no official website, Facebook or Instagram page that we could find.
Rooms and sound
Crown does not publish room sizes or room counts. Owner photos show a glass-door entrance with a red neon "CROWN KTV" sign. On the plus side, reviewers say the song library covers both English and Chinese tracks. However, several reviewers also describe the sound system as old.
Food and drinks
Owner photos show bottled spirits such as Singleton 12, fruit platters and bowls of snacks. In addition, a laminated food menu lists bar staples. These include chicken wings, fried rice and mee hoon, seafood dishes and satay. So you can eat a proper meal here, not just snack.
Charges and reviews
Several public reviews from 2023 to 2025 report unexpected charges on the final bill. Some of the same reviews also describe pressure to tip staff. We cannot verify these accounts, and other guests rate the venue well. Still, the pattern is worth knowing. Ask for the full price list, service charge and tax before you order, and check the bill line by line. Our KTV etiquette guide explains how tipping usually works.
Who it suits best
It suits adult groups staying in Bukit Bintang who want a late lounge close to the monorail. It is less suited to anyone on a tight budget, or anyone who prefers to check prices online first. Also, this is an adult venue, so it does not suit children.
Crown KTV price and minimum spend
The venue does not publish room rates or a minimum spend. Six Google Maps users report spending RM200 or more per person (checked October 2026). An undated owner-uploaded menu gives a sense of food prices. Verify all of these with the venue before you go.
- BBQ chicken wings, half a dozen: RM58++
- Seafood fried rice: RM28++
- The menu also mentions an 8% government tax on top
